Adding Requirements for Canvas Modules

I absolutely love using modules in Canvas. It's the primary way I utilize the website for teaching.
Modules are great for:
1. Grouping resources by unit
2. Sharing resources to Canvas Commons all at once
3. Grouping resources by time period (Ex: All the work for one week)
4. Sequencing assignments for students
I enjoy sequencing assignments for independent learning because, often, our lessons build upon concepts. I need students to view or complete assignments in a certain order.
In the video tutorial below (my first time using Loom!) I show you how to add requirements to a single Canvas module, making students move in order and meet criteria before they can move on.
The criteria options include:
1. View the Item
2. Submit Assignment
3. Mark as Done
4. Contribute to Page
5. Score at least___ (This is great for quiz retakes. You can allow them to retake quizzes until they get a certain score.)
Check out the video below for a quick tutorial on how to utilize module requirements in your Canvas course!
